Barefoot Engineering

Indie rock from Indy. Barefoot Engineering is three guys in the neighborhood of 40 who honed our chops playing in local punk bands Project Bottlecap and The Brokenhearted in the times of dial-up internet and the fear of Y2K.

Throughout their time as musicians, they've been able to warm the crowd up for so many legends in the scene: Thrice, Brand New, My Chemical Romance, Pop Unknown, The Ataris, Alkaline Trio, Pollen, Hot Rod Circuit, Ultimate Facebook, The Lawrence Arms, Cadillac Blindside, Digger and countless others.

Barefoot Engineering plays 90s-inspired indie rock loud, hard and fast. Taking cues from personal favorites Knapsack, Hot Rod Circuit, Jawbox, Seaweed, Foo Fighters, and Jimmy Eat World, they’re ready to take the dive bars and basements of the midwest by storm... that is, when they have enough PTO to take off work and it doesn't conflict with their children's extracurricular activities.
