Dillyn Salazar

Dillynn Salazar is a singer/songwriter and guitarist based out of Indianapolis, IN. Backed by the Soup and Salad Bar Band, consisting of Abe Rodriguez on drums and Ricardo Hernandez on bass and backing vocals. The band plays heavier rock influenced by post-hardcore, punk rock, metal, progressive, and pop.
Dillynn started recording his first EP, "There's Nothing Left for Me to Lose", in late 2022 after deciding that he wanted more creative control and musical freedom than was available in his previous Punk Rock Night Indianapolis Award winning band Missing Fingers. After recording all instruments on the first EP, he decided that he needed to form a band to play the songs live. Dillynn recruited long-time friends Abe and Ricardo after wanting to play with both of them for many years. After the release of "There's Nothing Left for Me to Lose" on March 27th, 2023, the full band has played numerous shows in Indianapolis and the surrounding Indiana area, even playing out of state in Wisconsin and Ohio.
Dillynn Salazar has also been nominated twice for the 2023 Punk Rock Night Indianapolis Awards for "Best New Band" and "Best Local Release." Currently working on their second EP, Dillynn Salazar and the Soup and Salad Bar Band are booking shows constantly looking for new opportunities.
