Fantastic Shams

Fantastic Shams is a band that blurs the lines between proto-punk, power pop, and psychedelia. Their music is a wild and unpredictable ride, full of catchy melodies, driving rhythms, and unexpected twists and turns.

The band's members, David Bower and his long-time collaborators Cyrus Resur, Adam Gross, and Matt Lynch, have been playing together in various formations for over 10 years. They have a deep understanding of each other's musical strengths and weaknesses, and they use this knowledge to create music that is both cohesive and exciting.

Fantastic Shams' new self titled LP is their most ambitious and accomplished work to date. The album is a collection of 10 songs that explore a wide range of themes, from love and loss to alienation and social commentary.

The band's influences are evident throughout, but they never sound like they are simply rehashing the past. Instead, they take these influences and create something new and exciting.
