Throne of Iron

Formed in the sweltering summer of 2018 in the wake of an alcohol-fueled love of the sounds of classic heavy metal and tomes of roleplaying past, Throne Of Iron is here to bring the wood paneled basement to YOU.

In early 2020, Throne Of Iron released their debut full length on No Remorse Records, "Adventure One", receiving positive reviews and establishing the group as champions of fun within heavy metal. 2021 saw Throne Of Iron release "Second Winter", a live album of their last performance before the events of 2020, giving those who had not yet gotten a chance to see the group live a chance to feel some of the energy they bring to the stage. 2021 also saw the departure of Evan Pruitt, and the summoning of Arzab of the Howling Abyss on bass and backing vocals, a literal demon possessing a suitcase, making Throne Of Iron the first metal band with an Abyssal member. In 2022 the group released "The Side Quest", a split with Bay Area dice demolishers Dungeon Crawl, as well as performing at Legions Of Metal and Mad With Power festivals. In 2023, they made their first journey to the east coast to play Stormbringer Metal Festival. They are currently hard at work in The Basement forging their second full length album.
