Withered Veins

Withered Veins is a three-piece grunge/heavy metal band formed in Fort Wayne, Indiana in December 2017. They are composed of bassist/lead vocalist David Winn, guitarist/backing vocalist Ace Mirelez, and drummer Nick Degunya. They blend metal with the early 90's Seattle grunge sound and have brought it to Fort Wayne. Withered Veins takes inspiration from such bands as Alice In Chains, Godsmack, Iron Maiden, Kiss, Mastodon, and Nirvana.

They debuted in the studio with their six-song E.P., 'When Blood Runs Cold' on April 20th, 2019. The album birthed the singles "Pointless Thoughts" and their eponymous track "Withered Veins". Ace had written both tracks before even forming the band.

They released their first full length album on November 14th, 2020; the 15-track behemoth, "Downward Dogma". The album spawned five singles, the blistering "This Is Not A Drill", the guitar showcase "Bullseye", the slow-burn "Isolation", the tribute to Layne Staley "Lost Voice", and their biggest song to date, the anthemic "Subhuman".

The band released their second full length album, "Advanced Decay", on March 31st, 2023. The album featured three singles, the intense and high-energy "Hide", the Latin-inspired "Take You Home", and the sludgy, doomy, "Traitorous".
